This is a varied and busy role at the heart of our school. The successful candidate will be based on our reception desk and will often be the first point of contact for our children, families, visitors and professionals. We are therefore looking for someone who is welcoming and approachable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm, professional and helpful, even when things get busy!
You will provide high-quality administrative support across the school and will need good literacy, numeracy and IT skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload. You will be proactive, well organised and able to use your own initiative, whilst also enjoying being part of a wider team.
Most importantly, you will understand that working in a school is about much more than administration. You will share our commitment to Care, Opportunity and Success for every child and understand the importance of confidentiality, safeguarding and building positive relationships with our families.
Previous experience of working in a school office and knowledge of school systems, such as SIMs and Schools Comms, would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
In return, we can offer:
• A welcoming, friendly and supportive staff team
• Wonderful children who make every day different
• A varied and rewarding role at the heart of our school community
