About the Role

Bosham Primary School is seeking to appoint a friendly, organised and proactive Admin Assistant to join our school office, to start as soon as possible. A flexible attitude, strong team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills and administration experience are essential. Use of school MIS systems is desirable, but training will be given. Your duties will be varied and may include assisting in a number of different areas across the school.

Job Details

Salary: Grade 4:6 - £15.10 an hour (inclusive hourly rate)

Contract Type: Fixed term

Working Pattern: School hours will be 08:15 - 12:15 (one hour lunch) 13:15 - 15:15

Either:

  • Wednesday and Thursday mornings then school hours on a Friday.

Or

  • School hours on a Thursday and Friday.

Location: Bosham

What You Need to Succeed

We are seeking someone who:

  • is well organised
  • works well in a team
  • has great communication skills to meet and greet parents
  • can support creating the school’s newsletter
  • Answer and respond to telephone enquiries
  • perform admin jobs left by the secretary such as
    • filling, shredding and archiving
    • managing diaries
    • maintaining stationery and first aid stock
    • checking class lists, fire logs and noticeboards
