Allocations and Lettings Specialist (North East Region)

We’re looking for an Allocations & Lettings Specialist to join our busy Allocations team and help us make best use of our homes, supporting customers to move safely, fairly and quickly into the housing they need.
This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our service, where you’ll manage lettings, transfers and rehousing cases, work closely with colleagues and partners, and ensure everything we do is compliant, customer‑focused and well‑organised.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing lettings and allocations cases, including voids, transfers and priority moves
- Working within housing policy, legislation and nomination agreements
- Communicating clearly and sensitively with customers, including in complex situations
- Working closely with internal teams, local authorities and other partners
- Keeping accurate records and contributing to strong performance and compliance
What we’re looking for
You’ll have experience in housing allocations and/or lettings, with a good understanding of policy‑led decision‑making in a regulated environment. You’ll be highly organised, detail‑focused and confident balancing customer needs with service requirements, bringing excellent Excel skills and experience of working confidently with data, spreadsheets and reporting.
