Teaching Assistant/Art Technician within the Art Department

Grade 4 - £23,114 - £23,893 (Pro rata £19,432 - £20,541)
Or Grade 5, with suitable qualifications
£23,893 - £25,979 (Pro rata £20,087 - £22,334)
Required immediately, 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time
Upton by Chester High School are looking to appoint an experienced, well qualified Teaching Assistant preferably with an Art/Design background.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to enhance the development and education of children. You will be working with learners who access the Support Department in their Art lessons.
The people we are looking for will be positive, enthusiastic team players with excellent interpersonal, nurturing, supportive skills and the ability to motivate others.
Ideally you will have experience of working with SEN learners and either hold, or be working towards a Teaching Assistant Qualification Level 2 or 3 with a proven track record of continuous personal and professional development.
