Introduction

Are you an experienced ASB professional with a passion for improving estates and communities where residents live? Can you work collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders to manage multi-agency responses to tackling ASB and supporting both victims and perpetrators? Have you successfully managed teams of staff in a housing environment? If so we want to hear from you.

What’s the role?

Managing a team of ASB Officers and Domestic abuse specialists this role will oversee the Housing response to ASB on estates and properties Lewisham Council owns. Working closely with internal and external colleagues to provide a timely and appropriate response to resolving ASB and pro-actively working to prevent ASB from occurring. This role will ensure the Council meets it's obligations in the Regulator of Social Housing's consumer standards and manage performance against the Tenant Satisfaction Measures. Instilling trust and confidence in the Council's approach both with residents and other partners.

What we’re looking for

You will have extensive experience of managing Housing and ASB at a management level and experience of utilising the powers available to local authorities to tackle ASB. You will have a passion for improving communities for our residents and work collaboratively to achieve that. You will build trust and confidence in the service both internally and externally. You will be organised and pro-active, able to produce good quality reports for a variety of audiences. You will have great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

  • Relevant CIH Level 4 qualification
  • Occasional work in evenings and weekends may be required
  • The job is subject to a basic DBS check

Salary

£57,495 - £59,574 per annum (P06)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
