    About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

    What You’ll Be Doing

Camden Adult Social Care is seeking an experienced and confident Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a fast-paced and rewarding front-door role that is central to our statutory safeguarding duties under the Care Act 2014.

MASH is the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns raised about adults at risk. You will work in a dynamic, virtual co-located, multi-disciplinary team alongside professionals from the Police, Mental Health, Housing, and Health to deliver timely, proportionate, and Making Safeguarding Personal responses.

You will triage safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42(1) decision-making, liaise with partner agencies, and initiate proportionate action under the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity for social workers who enjoy analytical decision-making, multi-agency work, and who want to contribute to high-quality safeguarding outcomes at the front door.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

    What We Offer

A robust induction into the MASH function and Camden safeguarding pathways.

Monthly reflective supervision and access to an experienced and supportive management team.

Access to core safeguarding training and development in areas such as legal literacy and trauma-informed safeguarding.

Develop skills and knowledge in areas, which include; self-neglect, mental health, modern day slavery, safeguarding adult partnership board, domestic violence, cuckooing and establishment concerns amongst many areas of safeguarding work.
