OverviewWe’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Finance and Assurance Division as Assistant Director of Collections and Benefits. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the collection of Council Tax, Business Rates, and Parking Income, as well as managing Parking Appeals and the assessment and distribution of Housing and Council Tax Benefits. You’ll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and operational delivery of these essential public services, ensuring they are aligned with our Corporate and Service Plans. As a member of the Finance Directorate Management Team, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the organisation to drive innovation, enhance service performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial operations. - £97,275 - £114,261 per year
