About us:

Silsden Primary School is a large, modern 3 form entry primary school that has high expectations and ambitions for its pupils and staff. We are proud of our offer to pupils and their “Exemplary” behaviour. Our values and vision are embedded in all that we do and are designed to help our children become resilient and inquisitive young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to other whole-school improvement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the NPQ SENCO award (or equivalent) or is willing to train and obtain this.
  • Has strong communication and partnership skills with parents and external agencies
  • Has personality, can inspire, support and challenge staff to improve outcomes for all pupils

We can offer:

  • A modern, welcoming and inclusive school community which has no areas that “Need Attention”
  • Pupils who enjoy coming to school and are “Exceptionally” well behaved.
  • Opportunity to develop your leadership skills, leading, managing and deploying staff to achieve our goals
  • Working alongside an experienced yet continually reflecting Leadership Team. A strong commitment to staff wellbeing
  • We hope that all prospective candidates are able to visit our school, before submitting your application.

Our visits are planned for:
