In this role you will have responsibility for Inclusion and SEND, join our Senior Leadership Team and build on our “Strong” practice in this area. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic leadership of Inclusion across the school.• Leading provision for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups. • Monitoring progress, provision and outcomes for vulnerable pupils and those with additional needs. • Working collaboratively with families, external agencies and professionals. • Leading staff development to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice and impactful interventions. • Contributing to other whole-school improvement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for someone who: • Has a clear passion for Inclusion and high standards across the Primary phase. • Has a minimum of 5 years successful Primary teaching experience ideally across more than one Key Stage. • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong strategic leadership skills. • Has the NPQ SENCO award (or equivalent) or is willing to train and obtain this. • Has strong communication and partnership skills with parents and external agencies. • Has personality, can inspire, support and challenge staff to improve outcomes for all pupils.
