Following a review of our leadership structure, an exciting opportunity has arisen for two talented, ambitious and inspirational leaders to join the senior leadership team at Stanley St Peter's CE Primary School.

We are seeking two outstanding practitioners who are passionate about inclusion, school improvement and ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

Assistant Headteacher (Co-SENDCo, EYFS/KS1 Leader and Behaviour Lead)

This role includes:

• 50% teaching commitment
• Strategic leadership of EYFS/KS1
• Leadership of behaviour, attitudes and culture across the school
• Shared responsibility as Co-SENDCo
• Leadership of a curriculum subject
• Contribution to whole-school improvement and curriculum development
• Acting as part of the school's senior leadership team, including deputising for the Headteacher when required
• Other duties as directed by the Headteacher

Post 2

Assistant Headteacher (Co-SENDCo, KS2 Leader and Assessment Lead)

This role includes:

• 50% teaching commitment
• Strategic leadership of KS2
• Leadership of assessment, recording and reporting across the school
• Shared responsibility as Co-SENDCo
• Leadership of a curriculum subject
• Contribution to whole-school improvement and curriculum development
• Acting as part of the school's senior leadership team, including deputising for the Headteacher when required
• Other duties as directed by the Headteacher

We are looking for leaders who:

• Have a proven track record of excellent classroom practice
• Have successful leadership experience with demonstrable impact on outcomes
• Are passionate about inclusive education and raising achievement for all pupils
• Have a secure understanding of SEND legislation and best practice, or a strong commitment to developing expertise in this area
• Can inspire, motivate and develop others
• Have high expectations of behaviour, attendance and achievement
• Are committed to continual school improvement
• Build strong relationships with children, families, staff and the wider community
• Have the resilience, integrity and drive to contribute to strategic leadership
• Share and support the Christian values and ethos of the school
