Assistant Support Worker - The Trees
We currently have an opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Assistant Support Worker at our scheme, The Trees, in Drayton Parslow, Milton Keynes.
The Trees is a dedicated service that supports four adults with autism and learning difficulties. Our mission is to empower our residents to live their best lives by assisting them with every aspect of daily living. This includes providing personal care, organising and supporting outings, managing finances, attending appointments, administering medication, and ensuring a healthy and safe environment.
Due to the location of this scheme, it is essential for all staff members to own a Full Driving Licence and have access to a car.
As an Assistant Support Worker you will;
- Provide appropriate support to individuals who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence.
- Provide personal carewith sensitivity and respect
- Promote life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
- Build supportive relationships with people who will benefit from you "being the difference".
- Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs.
It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
