    Assistant Support Worker - 223 College Road

    Part-time - 32.5 hours

    Hourly Rate: £12.60

    Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? 223 College Road, a warm and welcoming 3-bedrooms supported living service, is currently home to two adults with learning disabilities and social care needs. We provide 24-hour care tailored to individuals with a range of support requirements, including epilepsy, dementia, autistic tendencies, and behaviours that may challenge.

    We are currently seeking a compassionate, confident, and competent Assistant Support Worker to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will assist people we support with personal hygiene, medication administration, attending health appointments, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and engaging with the local community. You will also play a key role in managing and escalating emergency situations with calm professionalism.

    About You

    No previous experience in care? No problem! We provide a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.

    We are looking for people who are:

    • Flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays

    It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence (manual).
