What’s the role?
As an Assistant Youth Support Worker, you’ll help deliver engaging programmes that empower young people, promote participation, and widen their horizons. You’ll assist in creating safe, inclusive spaces, provide guidance and support, and encourage respect and tolerance. Working as part of a dynamic team, you’ll contribute to planning and delivering activities that inspire creativity and social responsibility. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn, grow, and make a real difference in your community.

You’ll need good communication skills, the ability to build relationships, and a willingness to learn and develop through training. Location
The job is primarily based across youth centres, adventure playgrounds and other community settings.

- Weekend working is required for this job

Salary
£30, 225 - £30,654 per annum (Scale 2)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
