Today, nearly 120 cadets are part of four thriving units across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.Our programme is open to young people aged 13–17, offering a unique opportunity to learn about policing and make a real difference in local communities through volunteering.We welcome cadets from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, ethnicity, ability, or prior interest in policing. In fact, we especially encourage applications from young people who may have had previous contact with the police or feel disconnected from their peers or community.Thanks to the dedication of our cadets, Leicestershire Police is better equipped to address the issues that matter most to local residents.
