Aintree Davenhill is a large primary school (Nursery-Year 6 children) which has modern facilities and extensive grounds enabling us to offer excellent educational experiences that foster an enjoyment of learning. Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 36 hours per week, term time only plus 2 Inset days

Grade: F Point 12-19 (pending job evaluation)

Salary: £29,456 - £33,023 Pro Rata

Starting date: 1 September 2026

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Aintree Davenhill Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Attendance and Pastoral Lead who demonstrates a desire to establish effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff, and has a positive ethos and high expectations for the learning outcomes for all our pupils. This is an office based, senior support role focusing on improving school attendance.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
