Attendance and Inclucion Officer
Contract Hours: 37 hours per week / 38 weeks per year
Salary: Outer London Scale 4, SP 7-10 (FTE: £30,285 - £31,610 / Actual £25,446 -£26,560 per annum)
Contract Term: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start Date: 2nd March 2026
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Attendance and Inclusion Officer to play a pivotal role in promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to make a real difference to the lives of our students by supporting them to achieve their full potential.
As Attendance Officer, you will work closely with students, families, and external agencies to identify and remove barriers to learning, ensuring that every child has the best possible chance to succeed. Your work will directly contribute to improving educational outcomes and fostering a positive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, record, and analyse attendance data on a daily basis to identify patterns and trends.
- Engage with families and students to encourage positive attitudes towards school attendance.
- Coordinate and implement targeted interventions to address attendance concerns.
- Liaise effectively with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support for students.
- Contribute to the delivery of the DfE RISE Attendance and Behaviour Hub programme, supporting best practice across the school.
