We are seeking to appoint a member of support staff who shares our school values of Kindness, Respect, Commitment and Inclusivity.
We are seeking to recruit an Attendance Officer to promote, in conjunction with other key school staff, to reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance. The postholder will work as part of a small attendance team and alongside the pastoral team on a day-to-day basis.
To work alongside the Attendance Intervention Lead and team to record, monitor and improve whole school attendance in liaison with pastoral staff. To work with the Attendance Intervention Lead in being proactive to address issues of poor student attendance, with the aim of improving the overall school percentage. To follow the local authority child missing in education procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
