The children and governors of our inclusive primary school are looking for a highly dedicated 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant. In this targeted role, you will work closely with a specific child to remove behavioural and emotional barriers to learning. You will champion our school values of courage, compassion, and commitment every day, working in tandem with the class teacher to ensure the child can access the curriculum and thrive within a calm, focused environment. We are looking for a behaviour support assistant who:
- Builds high-trust, compassionate relationships;
- Models resilience and emotional regulation;
- Decodes behaviour as communication;
- Communicates with clarity and de-escalates effectively;
- Tracks behaviour patterns and intervenes strategically;
