We are looking to appoint a positive, friendly and reliable Breakfast Club Assistant to support and supervise our children each morning. We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate a calm, positive, nurturing approach.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a child-centred, nurturing approach, the ability to maintain clear and consistent boundaries and a positive attitude.

We can offer you:

  • A happy, hardworking school community with a commitment to raising standards and enabling children to learn in a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities and excellent support from colleagues
  • A friendly, experienced and committed team.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to safeguarding children
  • The ability to support and supervise children in accordance with school policies
  • Some experience of working with children, even if that has not been as a midday assistant.
  • An ability to engage children in active play and maintain clear and consistent boundaries when managing behaviour.

The Council and its schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff, workers and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check and need to provide original copies of all relevant paperwork/qualifications required for this role.
