This is your chance to play a key role in the transformation of Brinton Park.
Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund, Wyre Forest District Council is delivering an exciting programme to restore and enhance Brinton Park, creating a vibrant, welcoming and sustainable destination for local people and visitors alike.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Officer to help bring the project to life. Working with local communities, partners, volunteers and contractors, you'll lead the delivery of an inspiring programme of activities that encourages people of all ages to get involved with the park.
You will
- Develop volunteering opportunities that make a real difference.
- Organise and promote events and community activities.
- Organise and help to deliver educational, heritage, conservation and recreational activities.
- Encourage more people to discover and enjoy Brinton Park.
- Monitor and evaluate the project's impact as part of the grant funding commitments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has plenty of initiative and wants to leave a legacy for Wyre Forest.

- Part time, job share and secondments will be considered.
- The role requires flexibility, including occasional evening meetings and weekend working to support events and community activities.
- You will be required to provide a suitable vehicle for this post.
- Fixed term until 31December 2027
