  • About The Role -

    We are recruiting for a Brokerage and Tracking Officer to join our team.

    Careers Young Workpath provides Careers Information, Advice and Guidance, as well as Employability Support, to young people aged 13–19 (and up to 25 with an EHCP) in Tower Hamlets. We work in schools, colleges and community settings to help them progress into education, employment and training.

    We are seeking a Brokerage and Tracking Officer to be based in our public office in Watney Market and other community locations. You must have a genuine interest in supporting young people in Tower Hamlets and helping them access education, apprenticeships, jobs and training. We are looking for someone who is self‑motivated, an excellent communicator, and a strong team player with outstanding interpersonal skills. You will be highly organised, able to prioritise competing demands and manage a busy caseload.

    In this role, you will work with young people across a range of settings, providing careers information, advice and employability support. You will make referrals to providers and assist young people with applications for jobs, apprenticeships, education and training. You will help them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and reach their full potential so they can make effective transitions into adult life. You will also contribute to a range of statutory tracking activities.

    We are looking for someone with:

    • Experience in an IAG or job‑placing environment.
    • Experience working with vulnerable young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET.
    • Experience of partnership or multi‑agency working.
    • Experience working in a multicultural environment, with an understanding of the barriers young people face in accessing opportunities.

Salary range

  • £42,264 - £44,235 per year
