
Brokerage Officer

The salary range for this position is £33,552 to £35,763 per annum based on a 36-hour working week. We support hybrid working meaning you will be expected in the office for 2 days per week but may work from other locations or home for the remainder of your working week. This role is based at our Victoria Gate, our Woking office.
Please note that there may be an occasional requirement to work some weekends/bank holidays on a rota basis, but this will form part of your 36 hours per week.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a full time permanent Brokerage Officer in our Brokerage Team, which is part of the Adult Social Care Commissioning function.
Working as part of the team you will be required to manage, and respond to, referrals for care and support from frontline teams and to respond with options within agreed deadlines. You will be required to source appropriate care support services whilst also achieving best value for the local authority, building relationships and knowledge of providers and services in the community as part of the sourcing process.

As a Brokerage Officer with Surrey County Council, you will:
- Be highly organised, willing to take responsibility, use your own initiative and be comfortable in managing your own priorities within the set procedures and processes. We are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic to work with us and proactive to achieve a great outcome for the referrals received.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, along with relationship development abilities.
- Have a good understanding of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
