Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6.2 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Guestling-Bradshaw Church of England Primary School is a delightful primary school with 205 children on roll, organised into seven classes. We are seeking to appoint a motivated, forward-thinking School Business Manager to join our dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a strategic role in the continued improvement journey of our school. Working alongside a driven and ambitious leadership team, you will help ensure the very best outcomes for our children, families and wider school community.
The Role:
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and highly organised professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be computer literate, able to work effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, and capable of handling sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
You will thrive in a busy environment, be able to prioritise competing demands and consistently meet deadlines.
As School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the school, including:
Finance and budget management
Administration and office systems – Arbor Finance knowledge desirable
Updating the Single Central Record (SCR) in line with statutory safeguarding requirements
Procurement and contract management
Human resources and personnel administration
Premises management
Health and safety management
Data protection and GDPR management
In addition, you will provide administrative support provide general admin support in the school office and contribute strategically to the leadership and development of the school.

- Communicates effectively with staff, parents, governors and external agencies
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills
- Can manage confidential information appropriately

Salary range
