Job Title: Business Support Assistant - Think Family Service (TFS)
Salary: £26,566 – £28,764 per annum
Grade: B
Contract Type: Fixed Term 11 months (Maternity Cover)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen within Children’s Services for a Business Support Assistant to join our recently formed Think Family Service (TFS) who deliver intervention and assessments to children and their families. TFS use a relationship-based approach supporting vulnerable children to remain living securely with their families where it is deemed safe to do so.

The role of the Business Support Assistant is to provide an efficient and effective level of administrative support to the team, enabling the service to achieve its aims and priorities.

The role consists of a variety of tasks including:

  • Co-ordinating and arranging ‘family time’ contact for children who are not able to live with their parents;
  • Managing, convening, and supporting Family Network meetings;
  • Arranging and timetabling groups, supporting the preparation for groups and co-ordinating spaces and places;
  • Providing a face-to-face greeting reception service, or any other duties reasonably expected to be undertaken by a post holder at this level.

The role requires use of Microsoft 365 packages including accurately recording information on our local authority database, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook systems.
