Business Support Officer

Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of its Democratic Services Team

The Council is recruiting for a Business Support Officer.

We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood.

The role involves providing administrative and general support to Democratic Services, Mayoralty and Resilience and Business Continuity.

You will have administration experience in a busy office environment and have experience of working with IT systems including word processing, electronic diaries, desk top publishing, databases and spreadsheets.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to work both within a team and individually. You will also need to be able work accurately and methodically under pressure with a minimum of supervision.

A commitment to providing excellent customer service and continuous customer service improvement is essential.
