Calderdale Council is seeking a highly motivated Business Support Officer to join our SEND & Inclusion Service, providing dedicated support to our innovative Experts at Hand Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing service that supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), their families and the professionals who work alongside them About the RoleAs Business Support Officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Experts at Hand Programme. You will provide high-quality administrative and business support, helping colleagues, schools, families and partner agencies access timely information and services Your responsibilities will include:• Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Experts at Hand Programme. • Producing letters, reports, spreadsheets and other documentation using Microsoft Office and specialist systems. [ • Supporting schools, settings, families and professionals by providing information and guidance on SEND processes and services.• Coordinating and maintaining accurate records and data systems. • Assisting with financial administration processes, including purchase requests and invoice processing.• Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners across education, health and social care services. About YouWe're looking for someone who:• Has excellent administration and organisational skills. • Can manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines. • Has experience maintaining accurate records and databases• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Is confident using Microsoft Office applications and business systems. • Builds positive relationships with colleagues, families and professionals. • Has an awareness of SEND and is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
