Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of the Repairs & Investment Team.
We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood.
The Council is recruiting for a Business Support Team Leader
The Role
You will play a lead role in the successful management and co-ordination of operational support and administrative activities for the Repairs and Investment Service. This will include administrative support for the Principal Repairs Officer and other Repairs and Maintenance areas within the council. Additionally, you will ensure that the Repairs and Investment Service fully complies with the Councils’ Core Customer Care Standards.
You will have experience of managing and supervising a small team as the role will require managing 3 Business Support Officers and 2 Work Planners in their day to duties. You will ensure the team perform to the expected agreed standards and will develop and nurture their skills in line with performance targets.
Additionally, you will assist Repairs Management in collating and monitoring KPI statistics and assist in processing and dealing with complaints, customer correspondence and customer satisfaction data.
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate substantial experience and knowledge of the social housing sector within a repairs and maintenance framework or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience as set out in the person specification.
