Southwark Council runs a wide range of communications campaigns to support services, inform residents and encourage engagement with council initiatives. The Communications team, within Strategy and Communities, leads the council’s approach to communications, campaigns, media relations and digital content. The team works across the organisation to ensure that council priorities are communicated clearly, residents can access information about services and initiatives, and communications activity supports meaningful engagement and impact. We are seeking a Campaigns Manager to lead the development and delivery of communications campaigns across Southwark.What You'll Be Doing
In this role you will: • Lead the planning and delivery of innovative, impactful communications campaigns supporting council priorities. • Use audience insight and data to shape campaign strategies. • Coordinate communications activity across multiple channels including digital, media and community engagement. • Work closely with services to ensure campaigns support policy and service objectives. • Monitor campaign performance and adapt activity based on results. • Ensure campaigns are accessible and reach diverse communities.What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has: • Experience managing communications or public engagement campaigns. • Strong planning and project management skills. • Experience using data and audience insight to shape communications activity. • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills. • The ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.Additional Information
