
Car Park Officer

We are an innovative and forward-thinking Council offering a good rate of pay and terms and conditions of employment, working a 37-hour week including working alternate weekends with the opportunity to work paid overtime.
The work is field based in our car parks, undertaking cleaning and carrying out regular inspections, redecorating, maintenance, and repair work.
You will work independently and as part of a team helping to maintain our car parks to a high standard of repair and cleanliness.
No two days are the same, and the work can be a physically demanding at times. In addition to daily tasks, you will be expected to use your own initiative to identify and tackle the work that needs doing to maintain our car parks to the highest standard for our customers.
You need to be mechanically minded and be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and have a full manual driving licence. You will need to engage effectively with the public and work colleagues, demonstrating good communication and customer service skills.
This post is subject to a satisfactory standard DBS check.
