Care Assistant - 4 Trinity Court 4 (£24,570)
We currently have an opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Care Assistant at our registered care home, Trinity Court 4, in Aylesbury. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic person who enjoys helping others and seeing the difference their support can make to enable individuals to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
4 Trinity Court is a registered residential care home supporting 6 individuals with learning disabilities, providing 24/7 care across a wide range of support needs in all aspects of the resident’s lives. The service is ideally suited to those looking to gain valuable experience in full residential care.
What You will Do:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Aid with the daily administration of medication
- Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way
- Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting
- Organise trips to local amenities
- Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goals
- Following tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing
As a Care Assistant you will;
- Provide appropriate support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence.
- Provide personal care but your role will also involve promoting life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
- Build long lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you "being the difference".
- Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs.
It is essential that you have a Full UK Driving Licence.
