Job Description

Salary: £16.84 per hour plus 7.5% enhancement outside core hours (after 8pm and before 8am)

Grade: D

Vacancy: Casual Contract (Zero Hours)

We are seeking an exceptional, engaging and committed individual to join us as an Alarm Warden. This role is a unique, varied, interesting and exciting opportunity to work as part of a team, you will support vulnerable service users within the borough, whether this is by providing support on the phone, driving to the residents property to assist with an accident or injury, liaising with family members, contacting emergency services or other professionals or taking emergency calls for our out of hours service such as social services, emergency planning or highways.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, ICT skills to log jobs and the ability to work on your own initiative to prioritise tasks and calls whilst remaining calm and professional.

The Careline operates 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day so flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays are essential.

This vacancy is for casual member of staff to work as and when needed, to cover absence, sickness and holidays. The shift pattern is likely to be 6.50am to 19.10pm (day shift) or 18.50pm to 7.10am (night shift).

An Enhanced DBS check for adults barred list will be required for this role as is a full manual driving licence and a good knowledge of the local area.
