Carers Lead

Help shape the future of support for unpaid carers in Southampton.

Are you an experienced professional with a strong understanding of carers' issues, co-production and partnership working? Do you want to influence strategy, lead meaningful change and ensure carers' voices are at the heart of service design and delivery?

Southampton City Council is looking for an ambitious Carers Lead to drive delivery of the Southampton Carers Strategic Action Plan and help make Southampton a truly Carer Friendly City. Working across Adult Social Care and with partners, carers and community organisations, you will lead improvement projects, influence strategic change and champion co-production to improve outcomes for unpaid carers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can build strong relationships, lead collaborative projects and make a lasting difference to the lives of people providing unpaid care to a loved one across the city.

What we can offer you:

Salary: The salary band for this role is £48,738 - £53,052. The starting salary is £48,738 with annual progression through the salary bands.
