18.5 hours per week - days worked to be discussed at interview.
Your new role
Based at the Portsmouth Carers Centre, this role leads key elements of partnership working with teams and organisations to improve the identification of carers and develop carer-friendly communities and services. It contributes to the delivery of Health and Care Portsmouth’s vision, supporting people to live healthy, safe and independent lives by ensuring services are joined up and accessible. You will support the implementation of the Portsmouth Carers Strategy 2025–2029, manage projects, supervise staff, and undertake strengths-based Carers Assessments and support planning
Who is the person summary:
You will need experience in health or social care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in partnership with public and voluntary sector organisations. A strong understanding of the issues facing carers in Portsmouth is essential. You should be creative, able to influence change, and skilled in reporting and evaluating data to inform service development. Flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to continuous learning are also key
