Required Monday to Thursday 7am – 3pm
Friday 7 am – 2.30pm.

Roseberry Primary and Nursery School is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Caretaker to play a vital role in maintaining our school premises and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys practical problem-solving, and has the skills and initiative to carry out a range of maintenance, repair, and handyman tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our buildings, grounds, and equipment remain safe, secure, and well maintained.

We are looking for someone who:
• Is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
• Is confident carrying out a range of handyman tasks, including basic repairs, decorating, assembling furniture and equipment, and making or adapting items to meet the needs of the school.
• Can identify maintenance issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Is able to undertake minor repairs and improvements around the school site using their own initiative and practical skills.
• Can work independently and solve practical problems effectively.
• Has a strong commitment to health and safety.
• Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Will contribute positively to the life of our school community.
