We are looking for a caretaker to join Ashdown Primary School. We wish to appoint a reliable and self-motivated individual who has proven skills, knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

  • An ability to effectively undertake site services: cleaning, minor repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Good initiative and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety procedures and protocols is desirable, but training will be given.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

We would be happy for this position to be a job share (working either every morning shift or every afternoon shift).

The hours will be divided up between maintenance – including health and safety checks and cleaning.

In addition, there are a number of evening lettings that require the site manager to lock up. These additional duties are paid on a claims only basis at 0.75 hours per lock up, at time and a half.
