Title: Maintenance Technician Carpenter UPVC
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week
Working pattern: 8 to 5 Monday to Friday (call outs per rota)
Salary: £39,707 per annum
Locations: We have roles available covering our patches in South West London & South London
Persona: Mobile Working (van provided) contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required
Reporting Office: Sidcup DA14

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:
Our Maintenance teams are growing. We are looking for a number of Carpenters with UPVC skills to work within our Reactive Maintenance Team covering the following areas in the South region Bromley, Lewisham and surrounding areas, Croydon, Sutton and South West London.
Our Carpenters deal with a wide range of jobs including internal and external door fitting, Splice repairs, General Locksmith, bathroom Sub Floors, Bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits.
The role will include internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.
Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment and tools.
You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device). It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role
Our in-house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. Our Carpenters are required to do call outs and will be paid to be part of the call out rota.
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow on and increasing satisfaction.
To be considered for this role candidates will require/be:
· Sound working trade knowledge and experience in Carpentry and UPVC
· NVQ or equivalent preferred
· Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and or Housing environment.
· Able to deliver excellent customer service and a right first-time approach
· Health and Safety conscious approach to work
· Wide range of Multi trade skills
· Manual UK Driving Licence
