Springbrook Residential Home provides disabled children aged 7 – 17 years with overnight short breaks. You will join a dynamic team of support workers in providing support and encouragement to children whilst they are engaged in homely and social activities, promoting their independence, and supporting them to experience new activities.
Job requirements:
The successful candidate must be flexible, motivated, and committed. You must have a passion for improving the lives of disabled children and their families. Work will include evenings and weekends. You must have an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification. Additional training will be provided to ensure we are meeting the needs of all children staying at the home.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
