Casual Splash Park Attendant

In this role, you will help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment across the Splash Park at Happy Mount Park. You will play an important part in ensuring public safety on site, while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of this busy visitor attraction.

Your duties will include providing friendly, front-line customer service, selling tickets and operating the till system, overseeing the Splash Park area, responding to customer enquiries, and helping to keep the site clean and tidy through litter picking and bin emptying. You will also carry out daily water quality testing to ensure chemical levels remain within safe parameters, following training and clear procedures.

The role involves handling payments accurately, completing end-of-day cashing-up procedures when required, assisting with first aid incidents, and recording all accidents and incidents in line with Council procedures. You will be responsible for reporting any damaged or defective equipment, maintaining any personal equipment issued to you, and liaising with emergency services when necessary.
