The Organisation
Kirklees and Calderdale Care Association (KirCCA) requires a CEO with strong leadership qualities. KirCCA is an established and successful membership association of independent, private and voluntary Health & Social care providers, based within Kirklees and Calderdale. KirCCA aims to provide its members with a collective voice, to work collaboratively with its key partners to inform strategy and change within the sector.
The Role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KirCCA will oversee other leaders within the organisation, work directly with our board, and ultimately shape our organisation’s future by focussing the efforts of the board in the right direction.
As a small organisation, KirCCA will expect the CEO to be involved directly in each function of the association. With this direct involvement, the CEO should be able to clearly articulate the vision, objective and strategic direction of KirCCA.
Essentially, the CEO will work to provide the board with the resources it needs to instigate change and promote growth. Specifically, the CEO will act as a liaison between the board, KirCCA members and stakeholders.
The Person
We would like to hear from candidates with a proven background in senior management/ownership within the Health & Social Care sector. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality care delivery and will be familiar with the issues and challenges faced by care providers as well as holding a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. The chosen candidate will be an organised, driven and motivated person who is able to deliver on the objective of our association without bias. Candidates will be subject to a full DBS check and references will be required.
Applications should be made by sending your CV and a covering letter to Karen Sturgeon at karen.sturgeon@kircca.co.uk
Panel interview to be held 10th November 2026.
