Job Description

Job Title: Child Protection Minute Taker
Salary: £29,253 – £32,736 per annum
Grade: C
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role

This post is for a full-time member of staff at Grade C, to support the Child Protection Conference process. The Safeguarding and Child Protection team are a busy and diverse team who strive to meet deadlines and support vulnerable families.

As a Child Protection minute taker, you will be responsible for:

  • Arranging Child Protection Conferences for families.
  • Ensuring that an accurate record of the Conference is produced and circulated within timescales.
  • Meeting and greeting vulnerable families prior to Conferences.
  • All related administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

The post holder will have proven minute-taking skills and a good working knowledge of the Children’s Social Care process and Signs of Safety. Excellent IT skills are a must, as are good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.

DBS Check: A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is not required for this role
