Childcare Nursery Nurse

To work as part of a team to provide high-quality early years education and care for children 0-5 years, in line with the EYFS, safeguarding requirements and the ethos of Pinxton Nursery School CIC Childcare.

To work under the guidance of the Nursery Head Teacher and Nursery Manager within the agreed system of supervision to:

Supports children’s learning, development and well-being through planned and spontaneous play experiences.

Act as a key person, building secure attachments and supporting individual needs.

To observe, assess and record children’s progress using the EYFS Guidance.

Contribute to planning, next steps based on observations.

Support children’s personal care routines, including toileting, dressing and meal times.

Promote positive behaviour and support emotional regulation.

The post holder will be expected to maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times.
