
Class Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our small (NOR 145) and friendly primary school in the heart of Langwith Junction, Shirebrook.
The Governors of Brookfield Primary School are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher who wishes to join our teaching team and school for maternity cover from 1st September 2026 until Easter 2027.

The successful candidate will be:
- A clear and engaging communicator in front of the children – someone who can hold their interest

- Is flexible and adaptable in the classroom – in order to meet the needs of the children in front of them
- Speaks the English language confidently and has impeccable standards of spoken grammar

Allocation of class/year groups will be based upon discussions with candidates, taking into account experience and professional development opportunities. We therefore ask that teaching experience is made clear within applications.

Salary range
- £32,916 - £45,352 per year
