Hylands Primary school is a vibrant, friendly primary school situated in the London Borough of Havering. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic primary practitioner to join a community where relationships between children and staff are very strong. In May 2025, Ofsted commented ‘Pupils thrive in Hylands Primary school, which has a close-knit family feel. Pupils live and breathe the school’s seven core values in the way they work incredibly hard during lessons and in how they interact during playtimes. Parents and staff value being part of the school community.’

We are committed to a strong set of core values for the community. For staff our professional cultural values are - collective responsibility, continual improvement, everyone a learner and accountability for all.
