Class Teacher

Abercrombie Primary School is a lovely, welcoming and well-regarded school at the heart of our community, where children’s happiness, wellbeing and progress sit at the centre of everything we do. The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the school.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of complex needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and senior leaders to provide high-quality support tailored to individual pupils' needs.

• works confidently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
• has experience of, or a strong interest in, supporting children with SEND and complex needs
• is patient, nurturing and committed to helping every child succeed
• can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• is flexible, proactive and able to adapt support to meet the changing needs of children
