Located on the Surrenden Campus our extensive shared grounds include a Nature School for all children. We are a large, full and oversubscribed school, reflecting our strong reputation within the community.
Paid weeks per year: 52
Fixed term: Anticipated to end at May half term 2026 to cover maternity leave
Start date: January 2026
About the role
The children and staff are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join us in Year 3 to cover maternity leave.
As a Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to all our children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement the curriculum.
- Monitor and support the progress and development of children in your class.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage positively with our community.
We require:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Ability to demonstrate strong classroom practice and to be a confident role model for others.
- Proven experience in teaching and leadership roles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in children's lives.
- Experience in KS2 desirable
