We are seeking an experienced, passionate teacher to join our caring and inclusive school community as a Class Teacher and SENDCo. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is driven by inclusion, inspired by making a difference, and committed to helping every child shine and thrive.


About the Role

SENDCo Responsibilities

Working alongside our established SEND team, the successful candidate will:

  • Lead and manage high‑quality SEND provision across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Ensure SEND policies and procedures are consistently followed and developed
  • Champion inclusive practice and equity for all learners
  • Work closely with families, staff and external professionals to secure the best outcomes
  • Oversee EHCPs, provision maps and targeted interventions
  • Attend relevant meetings and engage in high‑quality CPD

Class Teacher Responsibilities

As a class teacher, you will:

  • Deliver inspirational, high‑quality teaching and model best practice
  • Teach across phases, as required
  • Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support pupil progress
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom where all children feel valued
  • Work closely with teaching assistants to maximise impact
  • Model exceptional inclusive practice for colleagues across the school

  • Holds the National Award for SEND Coordination (or is willing to complete it)
  • Is highly motivated, positive and driven to make a real difference
  • Is an inspirational and reflective practitioner
  • Has experience supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs
  • Thinks strategically and leads with compassion and clarity
  • Has excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Builds warm, trusting and inclusive relationships with pupils, families and staff
  • Shares our Christian values and is committed to our vision of Let Your Light Shine
