We are recruiting Cleaners at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 1- 20 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time
Location: Various Locations across the Borough

Team: Building Cleaning

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

We pay an attractive salary of £13.47 per hour, Real Living Wage and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Building Cleaning is a very diverse front line operation providing a cleaning service for all CCBC buildings/establishments throughout the borough. We are looking for enthusiastic new members of staff to join our team.

You may be required to work alone or as part of a team.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided but the right candidate will be able to work independently and to a high standard, have a flexible approach to work but be reliable and a good team player with a willingness to support others where necessary.


For the role, we ask that you have:

  • The ability to follow instructions and work to agreed level of productivity.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and support and help others in the workplace.
  • Willingness to undertake training as required within the role.
