This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

We pay an attractive salary of £14.82 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Caerphilly is seeking to expand its workforce by recruiting enthusiastic and skilled physical activity coaches to deliver a range of programmes.

Our programmes include early years (ages 3–6), holiday schemes, school sport sessions, after school clubs, and the Positive Futures programme, working with disengaged young people through 1 to 1 and group delivery across the authority.

Successful applicants must be available to work weekdays during term time (8.30am–3.30pm) and/or afternoons and evenings (3.30pm–7.00pm) to support after school, early years, and community outreach sessions. In addition, hours would be available during School Holidays on variety of Sport Camps.

For the role, we ask that you:

  • Are qualified to at least Level 2 or equivalent as outlined by National Governing Body.
  • Have understanding of the latest coaching trends / techniques and performance attributes.
  • Have experience in the field of coaching either in a Leisure centre or school Environment.
