Champion our Pipeline Management and Commercial Reporting, feel its influence throughout the organisation

As Commercial Pipeline Manager, you’ll be owning, refining and championing our Pipeline Reporting capability delivering data led insights to inform the business, drive better decisions and manage commercial risk. You’ll be an expert in revenue pipeline management, commercial assurance processes, commercial metrics and have a strong background in commercial process continuous improvement. You will understand our core products and services and customers enabling you to provide the commercial insight and analysis for the organisation and all its future opportunities. You’ll educate customer and delivery teams on the insight and findings and influence action and measurable performance improvements developing understanding of and the value it can offer to them, creating buy-in across the business. As a representative of the Customer Relationships team, you’ll present the business-critical reports on a monthly basis, answering questions from a wide delivery audience.

Working closely with Strategic Relationships, Finance and Delivery, you’ll ensure that data handling is accurate. Together, you’ll produce comprehensive, transparent reports that inform decisions and action. You’ll work with the same teams to create weekly forecasts too, ensuring that these are uploaded to our CRM solution (Salesforce) in a timely manner. You’ll foster an environment that encourages scrutiny, advice and guidance. Always, you’ll be aiming to deepen and better your analysis, so that we can continuously improve.

What you’ll bring

You have recent, relevant commercial experience in sales, forecasting, reporting, planning/scheduling, pricing and governance in a customer focused delivery led environment. This is backed by a track record of delivering high-quality forecasts and annual revenue budgets. You’re proactive about driving continuous improvement.

You’re experienced at utilising customer and commercial data, CRM and data systems, tools and reporting to drive organisational decisions, performance and improvements. Plus, you’re adept at managing internal stakeholders’ input through opportunity funnel/pipeline to commercial completion and delivery, successfully setting expectations. You’ve achieved this through formulating accurate, concise, tailored and compelling reports to support new business and secure organisational buy-in. Always, you make sure to proof-check detailed documentation, translating and communicating complex information in a way that is easy to understand and engaging. You’ll also be comfortable presenting and influencing diverse audiences. Highly organised and detail oriented, you know how to adapt to competing priorities, reaching deadlines and results successfully.

It would be desirable if you had a degree or Level 6 qualification in Business Management, Finance or relevant subject. Exposure to private sector best practises, driving efficiency, lean working and continuous improvement would also be beneficial. As would work operating in a forecasting/planning or business intelligence or data analytics role in a variety of commercial delivery environments. We’d like to see experience of product, project and service delivery across a variety of industrial sectors, ideally including construction, estates, logistics, FM, ICT, professional services. Familiarity with IT tools for organisation performance, Salesforce CRM Analytics, and Tableau Cloud would be advantageous.
