Job summary
As part of the NCA's Strategy Command, the Internal Communications team operates within the wider Communications function and plays a vital role in promoting the Agency's work and ensuring officers have the information they need to do their jobs well. The team works closely with colleagues across the organisation, including senior leaders, to raise awareness of strategic priorities, strengthen engagement with the NCA's Mission and Values, and recognise achievements.

Job description
You will help to deliver our NCA Communications Strategy and Annual Plan, ensuring that our internal communications channels, products and activities engage, inspire and motivate our workforce. We are a busy and productive team, operating in a dynamic environment in which priorities can shift at short notice.
You will have the opportunity to get involved and influence in a variety of ways, with a large number of colleagues and partners, and work on strategic and creative projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:Support Senior LeadershipSupport the Head of Internal Communications and Head of Leadership Communications in helping to deliver the internal communications elements of our NCA Communications Strategy and Annual Plan. Lead a TeamLead a small team responsible for providing internal communications advice and support to NCA leaders and officers, contributing to effective communication and engagement within the Agency.Manage Internal CommunicationsManage internal communication plans, including deploying resources and managing risks. Coach and Support TeamProvide support and clarification to junior members of the team to ensure they are confident in delivering key messages.Understand and Tailoring Communication to Internal AudienceDevelop a strong understanding of different internal audiences and tailor communications appropriately, through analysis and segmenting internal audiences to target communication effectively. Matrix ManagementLead, manage and develop individuals as necessary ensuring other team members are able to deliver communication plans effectively.Consider Accessibility NeedsEnsure the tone, language and format of internal communication is easily accessible to and read by a range of NCA officers.Person specification
